That is why we were very pleased to be invited to write a teacher&#8217;s manual based on our previous experience as a trainer and facilitator. The result is a manual full of quick, creative lesson plans to work on topics such as climate change and sustainability with 9-12-year-old students.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Creatively On Climate Change&#8221; &#8211; lesson plans on sustainability and climate change aims to help teachers in secondary schools.<\/p>\n<h4>The following skills are developed in the lesson plans:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>teamwork<\/li>\n<li>discussion of viewpoints, communication skills<\/li>\n<li>visioning<\/li>\n<li>brainstorming<\/li>\n<li>developing your own action<\/li>\n<li>flexibility<\/li>\n<li>environmental-awareness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>The following topics are covered in the lesson plans:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>sustainability and society<\/li>\n<li>climate change<\/li>\n<li>urban transportation<\/li>\n<li>waste<\/li>\n<li>food<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The book is available to anyone free of charge and can be downloaded <a href=\"https:\/\/climatesmartelephant.com\/tankonyv\/\">from our website<\/a> HERE.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Education is an important pillar of climate communication and changing mindsets.
